Welcome to the Blind Box Spood Family! I want to thank each one of you for your patronage. What started as a small hobby quickly became a successful business! Without you, Blind Box wouldn’t be what it is today. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rochelle, and I am the CEO of yours truly. I am happily married and a mom of three. I have to give credit to my youngest; he’s the one who started my journey into the amazing world of arachnids. My son shares a passion with me for animals, which is an understatement as we run a homestead! From goats, chickens, to dogs, and even cats! There’s no short supply of critters running along the property.

I have to admit that I had always kept a respectable distance from spiders until my son brought an injured spood into the home, asking me to nurse it back to health. I obliged, and along the way, I became fond of them. Obsessed is a better word for it. Who knew that these eight-legged puppies could carry such sentience? It was at that point that I made it a mission to understand them more, but I also wanted to provide them with the best husbandry. Before life on the farm, I was an executive secretary. It was my job to think outside the box, be strategic, and provide excellence. Creativity is what I strived for, so I incorporated my secretarial skills into my enclosures. All the research and web browsing I had done didn’t impress me. I wanted to be different. Out with the mundane simplicity of just four walls and basic decor. Jumping Spiders need a soft spot to land, just like everyone else in the world.  Not only do I have your spoods’ well-being in mind, but I also want to capture your thoughts and make them come to life.

I am here for you to supply, encourage, and guide all Jumping Spider enthusiasts! With each order, you will be given a care kit along with different special items! Whether it be stickers, keychains, or sometimes a product of your choice, and maybe even a surprise!
